Before you buy a CS2 item

Five checks for a more informed purchase.

1. Identify the exact item you want. Compare the listing name, finish, wear description and any extras with your intended purchase.
2. Check the total shown at checkout, including fees and currency conversion. Set your own budget before comparing listings.
3. Read the seller or marketplace delivery terms. Confirm which Steam account will receive the item and whether a waiting period applies.
4. Review support and refund terms before paying. Save the receipt and the listing details.
5. An item’s appearance is a personal choice. A high asking price does not guarantee future resale value.
